Quynh manages MVMA’s direct service programs. She builds long-term and sustainable relationships within the Vietnamese community by means of community involvement and helping those in need of assistance. Quynh holds a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with emphasis on Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia.

After graduating with a Bachelor in Economics in Vietnam, Hien received her Master in Business Administration in Italy. She started at MVMA in 2007 as an intern, and subsequently served as Office Manager.  After leaving for two years to join the University of Maryland School of Public Health as a Program Manager and working with Johns Hopkins on public health projects, she came back to MVMA to serve as our Office & Fiscal Manager.

MyTien is a Public Allies AmeriCorps Fellow at MVMA. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from Colby College, specializing in human and child development as well as early childhood education. She strives to minimize racial, ethnic, educational, and socioeconomic inequalities by working in the public health sector.

Ms. Van T. Doan is the managing partner of Law Office of Van T. Doan where she focuses her practice to immigration and family law.  Ms. Doan believes that everyone has a civic duty to serve the community and help our neighbors because every person can make a difference.  Towards this goal, as the past immediate Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), Ms. Doan has promoted pro-bono green card, naturalization, and U-visa workshops; as the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) legislative liaison to Maryland, Ms. Doan has testified on numerous occasions before the Maryland General Assembly to ensure that minority and immigrant rights are not infringed upon by discriminatory laws; and as an educator, Ms. Doan is routinely invited to share her knowledge of immigration and family law with members of the local bar associations and training seminars sponsored by the Legal Aid Bureau of Maryland.

Hoan Dang is a community activist who is passionate about promoting civic engagement and community service for the betterment of society. He currently serves on the board of the Maryland Health Care Commission's Health Information Exchange Policy Board, the Washington Suburban Transit Commission, the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce, the George B. Thomas Sr. Learning Academy, and as a community advisor to the Office of the Maryland Attorney General. His family came to the US as Vietnamese refugees in 1975, and he has been a proud resident of Montgomery County, MD since 1976.

Ms. Anh Phuong Tran is the Empowerment Manager at IMPACT Silver Spring in Silver Spring, MD. She currently serves on the board of LEAP (Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc.), and previously served on the board of YNPNdc (Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, DC chapter.) Anh graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Economics and Mass Communications and a minor in Education.
